How to turn on Busy Mode

Turn on busy mode



Sometimes your location is receiving too many orders at once. Menuflow has designed the OrderStation solution with a super power called Busy Mode. When Busy mode is activated guests get a real-time message on the menu on their screen to inform them. Follow this guide on how to enable disable busy mode.

1) On your OrderStation terminal press the pulsing green icon at the top right of the screen, as shown on the screenshot below.



2) The following options will appear. Simply tap the Busy Mode option.



3) You will then see the following screen showing Busy mode Enabled. If you have multiple OrderStation terminals linked to the same location, the Busy Status will automatically appear. The screen will appear even if you restart the terminal or OrderStation app.



4) You will also see a red status in the title bar at the right of all screens as shown above and a red status in the menu as shown below.



You have successfully enabled Busy Mode for your location.

What the customers see



The following popup message will appear automatically on the customer's screen if they are browsing the menu or scanning the QR code when Busy mode is enabled on your OrderStation terminal.




Turn off busy mode



To turn off Busy Mode and start receiving orders again follow these steps.

1) On your OrderStation terminal press the pulsing red icon at the top right of the screen, as shown on the screenshot below.



2) The following options will appear. Simply tap the Available option.



3) You will then see that your location and OrderStation terminal is waiting for orders and all status icons and messages are switched to green as shown below.




What the customers see



If the customer has the kitchen busy popup on switching Busy Mode to Available, the popup message will automatically change as shown below.



You have successfully switched Busy Mode to Available for your location. Customer orders will start arriving at your OrderStation terminal.
